The Winner's Curse - Marie Rutkoski

The Winner's Curse (Winner's Trilogy, #1) - Marie Rutkoski
There are these rare moments where I read a book and I'm left speechless and emotional and so damn happy that I want to jump around and scream in everyone face's to read that book. This was one of those moments.

This was wonderfully written book that had me turning pages till early hours in the morning. I enjoyed every second of it and the only thing I'd want is for it to be longer - or that there is a  sequel at least.

The world building is done amazingly. That is a rare thing to find in most YA novels so I was pleasantly surprised by this. I could easily imagine every little detail and every little thing described as well. Like I said in one of my other reviews, I don't usually like historical fiction. I don't read it often but books like this one change everything I have ever thought about it and make me want to find more great historical novels. This is my second so far that I actually liked so maybe, my opinion will change soon even more.

Even a few days after finishing this, I still don't know what to say. It's one of my favourite books I've read and I just wish I was able to describe it properly but it's just not working. I am apologizing for this. I wish there were words to describe this the way it deserves to be described but right now, I can find none. I just hope this book will get success it deserves because it's truly one of the best YA novels written.
